1073.0. "The Craft" by POLAR::LARABIE (Uh-oh, now we're in trouble) Tue May 07 1996 02:17

Saw the movie "The Craft" this past weekend. Starring Fairuza
Balk, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True as a coven of wannabe
witches until they meet Robin Tunney who professes true witchly
    powers.

The movie centers around how the quartet uses their powers
and how they cope as the ostracized "weirdo's" of the school.
Starts to get violent towards the end, but I didn't mind it.
    A pretty decent flick IMHO.

Had some cool F/X and a good storyline, although they could have
    done more with it.

    Anyone else?

I also saw "The Craft" this weekend. I thought I was pretty good.
As the noter in .0 said the effects were great. I went to the
movie expecting not to like it. It wasn't the best movie, but I
    did enjoy it.

Spoiler........(If you don't want to know about details don't
    		    read on.......)

I will never look at a toilet the same again!!!! The seen with all
the maggots (or whatever little insect they were!) really grossed
me out! I also liked when Sarah was showing them she could change
herself...I think she looked pretty good as a blond.

I saw the Craft last week too! I liked it!
The effects were good and it was a good witch flick!

The maggots reminded me of Ghakkk (sp) from Star Trek the Next
Generation ( or the food the space alien invaders ate in the same
series ( from the episode "Conspiracy"
