Saw this movie last night and it was about what I expected. The reviews haven't been great but I figured that, with Robert Redford and Michelle Pfeiffer involved, it would be decent enough. The story is supposed to be loosely based on the Jessica Savitch (sp?) story, but I don't know enough about her to confirm that or not. The two actors shared a great chemistry and Robert Redford is still very appealing. There is a section of the movie that deals with a prison riot which I thought was very well done. The ending was a bit of a let-down - I could see it coming a mile away. All in all... fairly enjoyable but nothing outstanding. **.5 out of ****

Weak, slow, PREDICTABLE, and I saw NO chemistry between Warren (Redford) and Tally (Pfieffer) (that is, between either the actors or their characters). |
