1028.0. "Dracula - Dead and loving it" by EDSCLU::JAYAKUMAR () Tue Feb 06 1996 09:24

	Anyone seen this. I liked the preview and of course all Steve Martin's
movies, but before I even realized it was showing its gone..!

    	I believe this one starred Leslie Nielsen.

    I saw it and unfortunately all the funny scenes were shown on
    the previews. I would wait for it on video if I were you.

         >> MEL BROOKS IS LOOSING HIS TOUCH

         Change that to "...has lost his touch". I remember him being
    interviewed on his last movie (I forgot the name) and he described it
    as "very funny stuff". I then sat through over an hour without ever
    cracking a smile. The gags were obvious and predictable. Gave me the
    impression of the sense of humor of someone who hasn't watched a
    stand-up comedian in several decades.

    	I think his last movie was "Robin Hood: Men in Tights".

    This movie "bites" all right! I rented it last night and other than 2
    or 3 amusing parts (and the abundance of cleavage) it's not even worth
    renting. The only other good thing was McNicol (sp?)(Renfield) there is
    just something about that guys that kills me!
1028.7two thumbs up from me!SUBSYS::MSOUCYTue Aug 27 1996 15:119

    I thought this was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than his latest SpyHard
    movie which I saw in the theater. Good spoof of Brahm Stokers Dracula
    in my opinion!! Some good laughs.....especially with the shadows of him
    on the walls! Nice voluptuous babes in beginning too! ;-)

    Overall I good laugh in my opinion!
