Sean Reilly's mention of "Eraserhead" reminded me of this 1,
starring Tim Robbins and John Cusack as hopeful music producers
trying to make it big [or that's how I remember it, anyways].
Great movie. Does anyone know if it's available on video? I
mean, I know it must be since I rented it in the past, but can
it be bought? And where?

I have no idea whether it is still available for sale on video, but it is
definitely available for video rental. I won't say anything about the
availability of blank tape. ;^)
I remember it as being a very fun movie -- nothing classic, but well
worth a rental. I don't recall whether it was Sam or Dave (of
Sam&Dave) who plays one of the "Swanky Modes" -- I think it was Sam Moore.
- Dave (who has been tempted to rent this again)
