| Any one out there see anymore detailed scenes from "Escape from L.A."?
All I've seen were some quick flashes about it on "Entertainment
Tonight" one night!
I really liked the first one and hope the second is just as cool!

Saw an Escape from L.A. trailer before a screening of The Phantom.
At first, one wasn't completely sure one was seeing a trailer. It
looks to be entertaining in much the same way the first one was.

| Saw the new one last night. Excellent!!!!!
Plenty of humor, some gut-wrenching irony, lots of high-impact,
explosive action, cool characters. Some performaces were a little
under part (especially Cliff Robertson and Stacey Keach). But others
were first rate (especially Russel and Buscemi).
Go see it!

Now this was the summer's great, action-packed, cheesy, all-in-good-fun,
B movie that people were proclaiming ID4 to be!
Bottom line: if you liked the first, you'll love this - same movie.
Favorite line was from Cuervo Jones: "Snake, you got out of Cleveland
and escaped from New York, but we're gonna show you that this #$%&@!
city can kill ANYBODY!"

1001.9 | Enjoyable, but too short | TNPUBS::NAZZARO | Ain't no one gonna dog me down | Fri Aug 16 1996 10:40 | 9 |
| Saw this last night - it was really good, especially if you have seen
the original. Escape from NY was better, mostly because it took time
to develop the Ernest Borgnine and Harry Dean Stanton characters. If
Escape to LA was 15 minutes longer, it could have developed the
characters of Valeria Golina, Pam Grier, and Steve Buscemi. Grier and
Buscemi are two of my favorite actors, and each deserved more screen
time.

great results so far - except, of course - with my wife - who
was quite annoyed.

the Hot Shots series (plus she's a babe).
(Shawn) what else has she been in?
