999.0. "Brainsmasher: A Love Story" by BUSY::SLABOUNTY (Tearin' it up in the daytime ...) Tue Jan 02 1996 11:20
Andrew Dice Clay, Teri Hatcher, Deborah Van Valkenburg [remember
Ted Knight's brunette daughter in "Too Close for Comfort"?].
Deborah sends a flower to her sister, Teri, and asks her to hold
it for her. The flower allegedly holds the key to ultimate power,
and a band of Ninjas ["We're NOT Ninjas!!"] wants it. Andrew is a
bouncer who winds up getting mixed up with Teri and sticks around
to make sure she completes this "mission" successfully.
Some funny stuff here ... Andrew definitely tones his stand-up act
down considerably for the movies he does.

Brainsmasher was quite amusing. I wouldn't go so far as Academy or
Emmy winner though.
