| I think the zooming right through was supposed to be part of it;
apparently the action in the film occurs is "real time" -- that is,
both the action in the film and the film itself take the same amount
of time.

Yes, that certainly seemed to be the point. The action in the movie
started at 12:00 and ended at about 1:35. What I was commenting about
was the lack of plot twists. You could still have plot twists in a 1
1/2 hour time span...
I like the idea of the movie being "real time," but I think it could
have been done a lot better.
(just my $.02 - anyone out there really like it?)

| Saw this on a plane trip last week.... BORING! Did not hold my
interest at all. Found no chemistry between Depp and the actress
playing his daughter and the whole premise was pretty far-fetched.

| i saw this on a plane trip as well, it wasn't too bad. It was better
than get shorty though.

| I'd have to agree, they could have done a little more with this film in
order to keep our intrest. Save it for a night when there are nothin
but TV re-runs on and have nothin better to do! **/*****.
