Well, I don't know if .0 is being facetious or not, but I'll drop
my pride:
This movie was great! Another terrific action/adventure flick for Seagal,
who can't act his way out of a paper bag, but has yet to make a movie
I didn't enjoy.
Why I liked this and Die Hard 3 this year: NO love interest. Just the
good stuff.
And did they get like every great bad guy ever used in a movie or what?
- Sean 2 thumbs up

I also loved the look on their face when they found out that they were
dealing with Casey Ryback. Some were scared, some were too stupid to be
scared, etc...

About the quality of the film, I was being sarcastic. However,
I really did enjoy the film, even though the script and acting were
awful and the story was the same as Under Siege 1 with a new location.
But then, I love all the Di Hards, and Chuck Norris, and Rambo films.
And Navy Seals had me rolling in the aisles.

| When the movie was being reviewed on the 11:00 (Boston) news last
night, they showed a clip of one of the bad guys falling off the side
of a mountain. Then the reviewer, Joyce Kulhaywick, said ...
That was the script writer. They decided they didn't need him.
I'll probably see it on video.

1st off Joyce is not a movie reviewer, she's WBZ's Entertainment
Editor and thinks she's an arsty fartsy most of the time.
FWIW, Siskel & Ebert both gave this film a thumbs up. They
both said that for the genre this film falls into that it
delivers what it promises (ie. it sounded like non-stop action).

Well I thought watching Joyce's review last night was a lot more fun
than I would have ever had watching this movie, having seen the
clips she showed of the film. :-)

| RE last few -- And Joyce Kulhawik did say she'd expected to dislike the movie
and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure she exactly gave it her version of
"thumbs up," but she didn't completely trash it, either. She gave the
impression she had a surprisingly good time.
FWIW.

Joyce Kul-hate-it we call her. Always a bad review for the pop stuff.

No! Go see it in the cinema -- it's better with the big screen.
The explosions are better that way.
I think Joyce was right, it was the script writer flying off that cliff
but he wasn't falling he was jumping, and before filming started as well.
It is worth seeing even though it's trash.
