You are correct - note 605 is about guilty pleasures. I suggest this
movie could also be categorized under Most Ridiculous ever made. Got
the feeling when I watched it that they were making the plot up as they
went along. Also remember thinking how it seemed to have stolen ideas
from so many other movies (Ghostbusters, Alien, etc) as if that would
have been enough to save it. I wonder what was going on behind the
scenes in the decision making that went into this one.

| It was actually based on a novel called "The Space Vampires". I forget
who the author was though.

This must be the one with the alien lady that walks around naked
for the first part of the flick.
Saw it once at a drive-in, it was the second feature.
It had some good special effects though.

It's interesting that they also filmed a clothed vampire so it could be
shown on TV.

I find the film mildly enjoyable, it's worst problem is the screenplay (or
possibly the editing), the film makes little sense, even if you've read the
novel. Speaking of the novel, "The Space Vampires" was written by Colin
Wilson.

it showed up on Cinemax last night.
entertaining movie. Matilda looks great.
far-fetched, but not that bad at all.
At the beginning, the actors are so pale, my wife said they already
looked dead.
