833.0. "Bad Boys" by DECWET::MCCLAIN () Wed May 17 1995 13:24

    The movie: Bad Boys.
    Starring Martin Lawrence and Wil Smith.

    When I first saw this movie's previews, my first thought was "not
    another cop movie!"
    My wife and I decided we would go to see it last night, and it was an
    awesome movie! I thought that since both Smith and Lawrence were in
    comedy tv shows, that they wouldn't be able to do a good job, but I was
    really impressed by their performances.
      Another thing that I liked about the movie is the fact that
    everything didn't go perfectly, like in some other cop movies, where
    the hero never gets hurt, bruised or his plan never fails. Nothing
    seemed to go their way, but they still managed to get the guy in the
    end.

    Enjoy,

    Joe

    P.S.
    Great ending. Superbly done.

    Lots of good, gripping movies do not end happily ever after (examples
    after spoiler). And though
    they are in the minority, they do exist, so don't assume you're not
    giving anything away by giving away the ending. many of us who read the
    notes file do not want facts about the movie revealed ahead of time, which
    is why we have spoilers.
                  <spoiler for other movies, possibly>

    Chinatown
    Against All Odds (lovely Cozumel scenery, especially since we saw it
    		after honeymooning there).

    In both, the biggest bad guy walks, and the hero does NOT get the girl.

    Awesome.....most mysteries I figure out. "Shattered" blew me away.
