Unfortunately, you're wrong.
David Spade is the least funny person in the world.

They're both funnier than Adam "one voice, one joke" Sandler, imo.

it's definatly the "old" Bo from the neck down, but from the
(scrawny) neck up, it's the new "old" Bo trying to stay and look
like the old "old" Bo!!! howz that?!?!?!
Rob Lowe is in this one too!!! boy did that film of him and
his 16 year old "friends" help his career along!!!! ;^)

Obviously this is a "no-brainer" movie like Dumb and Dumber but it
definately is good for a laugh. I'm not usually one to rush out and
see this type of movie but my husband and a friend of ours love this
type. Hence I have seen Dumb and Dumber and Tommy Boy. All in all, I
thought Tommy Boy was funnier than Dumb and Dumber. Maybe funnier
isn't the right term, but I thought it moved along better than D&D.
There didn't seem to be as many "lapses" between funnies.
I was surprised to see Rob Lowe in this. He was pretty pathetic IMO.
It was good for a few laughs and I didn't pay full price (Used discount
tickets).

| IF CHRIS FARELY IS THE LEAST FUNNY PERSON IN THE WORLD TO YOU THEN A
SENSE OF HUMOR ON YOUR PART IS IN ORDER. I RELIZE THAT THIS MOVIE HAS
NO INTENSE THINKING INVOLVED TO WATCH IT BUT ON A FUNNY SCALE IT DOES
PRETTY WELL. DON'T KNOCK IT BEFORE YOU TRY IT.........BYE THE WAY MAJOR
PAINE WAS PRETTY GOOD.

I saw Tommy Boy when it first came out. It's a comedy. I thought it
was hallarious. What more could I ask of a comedy?
Well, there was actually a story line that was believable and made
sense.
And Brian Dennehy(SP?) played a major part in the first 1/3 or so
of the movie. I can only think of a couple of people who have the
screen presence of Dennehy. I think he and the movie are excellent.

Saw this movie on video last night. It was okay, definitely not
one I would have paid to see in the theatre. I was appalled at how
terrible Bo Derek looked. She looks like she's probably an anorexic.
She'll only be 40 years old (as of Nov. 20th, 1996), but she looks
a lot older. When they first showed her in the pool and she starts
walking out of the water, she looked like a skeleton. Looks to me like
she's starving herself to try to live up to expectations from her
earlier movies.

So I guess she's withered away to a "5" instead of a "10"? :))
