> Also in this film -- David McCallum (of Man from U.N.C.L.E. fame) as
                                                                 ^^^^

Is is depressing or surprising or what that the only thing
McCallum is widely known for is his second billing in a
30 year old TV show?
I thought "fame" was supposed to be fleeting?

    	Oh, OK. 8^)

Tom made it sound like he had done alot more and all he was
remembered for was that one role.

He's done a lifetime of television and stage work
that hasn't been seen in the U.S. Well, some of the
TV work has been seen here ("Mother Love" on WGBH
and the appalling "Trainer" on NH Public TV).
But since U.S. visibility defines "fame" for the U.S.
market, the poor sod is remembered only for U.N.C.L.E.
799.5No stage work listed, but otherwise:EVMS::HALLYBFish have no concept of fireThu Mar 30 1995 14:5557

    Naw, some of us remember him for being "removal" in The Great Escape;
but thats from more than 30 years ago. And for his role in a PBS series
with Diana Rigg (sorry forget the name), and currently as the dead dad,
    in Fox's VR5.

he was in another one, for about 3 seconds. Supposedly they may have
him "pop in" to one of her VR ramblings at some point.

re: Outer Limits: You're right! I forgot that one, but then I was only
4 years old, and watching them with my babysitter. ;-) My how time
flies..(now why can't they put OL on the SciFi channel?). :-(

    :-)

..and thanks, for the answer on the PBS show!
