683.0. "China Moon" by NETRIX::michaud (Richard Gere) Sat Oct 29 1994 17:49

	This one stars Ed Harris and Madeleine Stowe. Harris plays
	a police homicide detective who always gets his man. Stowe
	plays the abused wife of a rich man. Her husband secretly plays
	around but Stowe apparently has hired a P.I. who catches him
	on film.

	Harris meets Stowe in a bar and the two have an affair of their
	own (Harris is not married). One critic they quote on the box
	says this film is "The `Body Heat' of the 90's...", but the single
	love scene on the rowboat left alot to be desired.

	The film is billed as a thriller (murder mystery) but the plot
	was so full of holes, and the characters so out of character,
	that I found the film to be a disapointment. I can't believe
	Siskel & Ebert gave it not just one, but two thumbs up!
