Woody Allen if often quoted as having coined the phrase "90% of life 
is showing up"?

Did he actually say this?  In a movie?  In an interview?
Was it in reaction to a question, or some other observation?

Or was it really Casey Stengel or Yogi Berra?

  I don't know but I doubt if it were Yogi Berra or Casey Stengel. Sounds
more like Woody.

  Yogi would have said "90% of your life is everything except 1 year out of
ten."

  Casey would have said something like "90% of your life is when you do things
that you didn't do because you were doing something like hitting or pitching or
something else like when we bring in a pitcher in the 7th inning and we're up
by 2 runs and the pitcher looks like he doesn't have his stuff but we've got
another guy warmed up in the bullpen so if that guy can't pitch the other guy
can pitch which is like when your hitter comes up with 2 out and none on in
Candlestick park where the wind is blowing and ..."

The Woody Allen quote is actually "Eighty percent of success is showing up"
and it's from an interview, according to my trusty copy of Bartlett's.

"Eighty percent of success is showing up" is a very different
statement than "90% of life is showing up!"
And not just from the 10 point difference!

I think I've seen the "Eighty percent of success is showing up"
version as part of a fitness club ad, implying that just getting
to the club will put you in the mood to do what workouts you need.

  I remember a scene in Hannah where he was trying to change his life but
he was also sent out for groceries. When he got back he pulled out all sorts
of religious materials along with the bread and mayo.
