    Excellent, four **** -- Martin stars (produced and wrote) in a story
    of a young girl who must choose between her natural father and her
    adopted one. The title is absolutely perfect in describing the fate
    of Martin's character.  Steve Martin is truly one of the best story
    tellers around these days.

	I haven't seen this one, but thought I'd mention that it's based on that popular high-school lit-class favorite, "Silas Marner". If it's as good a modernization/adaptation/homage as Martin's "Roxanne" was of "Cyrano de Bergerac," it must be a pretty decent movie... -b
