Basically a take-off on the 50's pop song, a kid goes to a
fortune teller [gypsy] and ends up buying a bottle of love
potion from her. This potion is taken orally, and when that
person speaks, the hairs inside the ears of members of the
opposite sex are affected in such a way that they can't help
but be attracted. The effect is the opposite on members of
the same sex ... makes them dislike you.
An OK movie, if you like stupid comedies. 8^)
The reason I'm posting this is that I just found out that the
lead female was played by Sandra Bullock. I didn't know that
until last week when I noticed it in the Mason/Porter movie
guide [or maybe it was in the TV guide].

Costars Adrian Paul, now TV's Highlander.
This is your basic rental comedy. Not outstanding, but amusing.

I liked this movie - especially the scene where he turns down the
attractive blonde because she couldn't answer his question!

I liked this movie too. I thought Diane (Sandra Bullock char.) looked better before she got made over. She was supposed to look nerdy at the beginning, but there was something about her. Much of this movie was filmed here in Atlanta, a couple of people I know are in the micro credits at the end. They were in the massive chase scene near the end of the movie when all the guys are chasing the bimbo. Paul | |||||
