573.0. "Wayne's World [original & sequel(s)]" by NETRIX::michaud (Jeff Michaud, PATHWORKS for Win. NT) Fri Jun 17 1994 00:19
What, no topic for the Wayne's World movies?
I just recently caught "Waynes World 2" on video and must say
I was very disappointed with this sequel.
The original was just that, very original. The sequel offered
nothing new, and really didn't give much of anything old either.
It just seemed like a rather empty 93 minutes.
If you like the Wayne's World running skit (on SNL), then most
definitly see "Wayne's World", but do *not* see the sequel.
Party on Wayne
Party on Garth

| Oh come on the sequel was not that bad - take it for what is meant to
be - there are some classic comedy parts
Earth, wind and fire - Charlton heston etc ....
The original was a classic - but there are a lot of worse so called
Comedy films around...

The sequel was a blatant attempt to cash in on the formula of the
original, but it was still watchable with some good one-liners.
