| Well back to the base topic, I just saw this movie and
found the movie interesting, but must say am not sure
I 100% understand the ending. I'll ask after the
spoiler warning ......
[spoiler warning]
Was most of the movie a dream of Nick's? And why did he
have a bottle of pills clunched in his hand when he
woke up in the waiting room?

474.12 | | 5468::DOWNS | | Thu Mar 17 1994 14:10 | 6 |
| Toward the beginning of the movie when she was leaving in a rage, just
before getting hit by the car he took some pills with a glass of wine.
They must have been sleeping pills. He must have kept them in his hand
the whole time. I loved the movie and the ending.

| Caught this friday night......
Yuck, the lead, Nick, was terrible - he belongs in B movies - not to
insult B movies but I didn't think this guy could act his way out of a
paper bag....and would someone please style this guy's hair? For a
prominent surgeon with big bucks he sure didn't dress like it. And if
he is gonna keep 'creamin in his jeans' he should start wearing
underwear with Serenity pads instead of always changing his shirts.
1/2 a * out of ***** and thats only due to Sherilyn Fenn's fine acting
job.
RE: the spoiler
Seems he downed a handful of pills, took a swig of wine and ran after
Helena - why I don't know she was such a major bitch....anyway.seems
his "dreamworld" starts there. Best I can tell the pills didn't take
affect until after he got her top the hospital but why he clutched the
bottle for so long is hard to image since they showed him "working on
her" and helping in the ambulance.

I thought he was quite "stylish" well dressed, and what does hair
style have to do with being a surgeon anyway???

Nothing - but...the whole phrase was "..a prominent surgeon with big
bucks...."
My intent was - with all the money this guy has you'd think he could
afford a nice hair cut or 'style' so what if its long - I prefer longer
hair on men myself - but only if its styled or kept well - his just
looked long and stringy and UNkept.

I guess what I was saying is, "that is the style" today, whatever
style is....I know this wasn't the only 90's movie you've seen, so
you have seen that "style" before....
