| ??? A Chris Elliot note, how pathetic...."Get a Life" :-)
Regards
J
P.S. For the television impaired, Chris Elliot was the star of a Fox TV
show called "Get a life" He played a 30 something paperboy, who still
lived at home. Weird but, funny

the show had it's momments...like when he devoured some alien creature
that spewed stuff from various places. A really revolting episode.

Which episode of his TV show would make the best movie?
OK, I tried. Sorry. 8^)

| He was also in the prequal to "Silence of the Lambs" (The movie of
the book "red Dragon") acting as on of the forensic crime guys.
I believe the movie was "Man Hunter".

**** Trivia **** His father is famous, I believe of the Bob and
Ray comedy duo (before my time). Maybe someone else out there knows for
sure.

| Yes, Chris Elliot's dad is Bob Elliot of "Bob and Ray" [Goulding]. Bob often
pops up on Garrison Keillor's radio show on public radio (now back to being
called "A Prairie Home Companion" after existing as "The American Radio
Company" for a while).
Ray, alas, is deceased...

Yes, I have seen a couple on either A&E or Comedy Central (can't remember
which - maybe both...?). They're kind of cute. He is fairly restrained
in them, surprisingly. :-)

| This topic hasn't been touched in a while. In case anyone
hasn't discovered yet, Chris is now a cast member of Sat.
Night Live. He doesn't seem to be in many skits though ......

| chris' best perfomance IMO is in the Tostito's commercial where he's
being audited by the IRS.... haven't seen Cabin Boy yet, S&E were on
Late Show with DL the other night and they chastized him for even
mentioning the movie....

He's unquestionably the least funny of the SNL crowd nowadays. Is Cabin
Boy worth renting? At the very least, one would get to see David
Letterman.

| I think Letterman is in the movie for two minutes, possibly less. I
thought Cabin Boy was OK, I think I laughed twice. If you can get it
as a cheap rental for a wet wednesday night then its not too bad.
