| I saw this movie Saturday night, and I can't say enough good stuff
about it. Both my husband and I really enjoyed it, and came away very
uplifted. I've never been to a movie where the audience was so moved.
A definate must see!
***** out of *****! (Trust me - I don't give many movies that rating!)

A really entertaining movie.
Now on video and worth the rental.
The lead actor really did a fine job and the story is really a good
one.

| I caught this over the weekend also. The movie was well acted
and directed. But I must say, I wouldn't call it an inspiring
story. To me Rudy seemed like a nut-cake who was overly obsessive.
The epilogs indicated he actually graduated from Notra Dame, but
I remember Siskel & Ebert saying in real life he flunked out?

The real Rudy was in the stands somewhere ... although I don't
know what he looks like, and I didn't know this until the credits
revealed it.

| Not to drop names or anything.... but I sat the row behind Rudy and the rest
of the producers at the Toronto Film Festival a few years ago. Dennis
Hopper was also sitting with them (I guess because he had made "Hoosiers"
with the same gang) I will say that Sean Astin is slightly better
looking... the real Rudy looks like your everyday Joe - average height,
average weight, dark curly hair. The film was well received by the audience,
although didn't seem to create a "buzz" like so many of the other films at
the festival. This year is the 20th anniversay of the Toronto International
Film Festival and my brother is once again the box office manager. If
anyone would like information sent to them, you can contact me off line.
