A friend who lives in Brookline (MA, borders Boston) said she saw
them filming it this summer at Brookline High.
That's as much as I know!

My aunt's nephew (Tommy O'Brien) has a bit part in this movie. He had
one line which was cut. When they were doing the filming, he adlibbed
something and they liked it so kept it in. I'll go see this mainly to
see Tommy. I remember him from when he was a little toddler playing
on the beach up through when he dated my youngest sister, so it'll be
kinda neat to see someone up on the big screen that I've known all
their life. As an aside, his father is also an actor. He's been in
SHEAR MADNESS in Boston a number of times and had a few bit parts
in Spenser for Hire when it was filmed in Boston. He also tried out
for the Karate Kid movie, but didn't get a part. What a way to be
one-upped by your kid.

My friend, Thomas Downey, is also in this movie. He's one of the bad
guys. It was filmed in different parts of the Boston area.

| Well,I *will* say one thing for the "Karate Kid" movies: There isn't
any sex or bad language in them (please spare me all the stuff like
"that's my favorite part"! etc.) and it's getting harder and harder to
find videos I can rent at "Blockbuster" that I can show to my kids (11
and 12)

| KK IV has been and gone. It was in the theatres a couple months ago
with a female "Kid".

| and the female in question was played by Hilary Swank. It didn't help that
several reviewers lost count and thought it was the third KK movie, but like
the Rocky series, they are pretty hard to tell apart.
