Anybody bought or seen the Video 'Derek & Clive Get The Horn' -
out on Polygram with Peter Cook & Dudley Moore? It's apparently
just been re-released here in the UK (the first time round most
of the copies were confiscated by Manchester Chief of Police.
I shall definately be trying to get hold of a copy before it
gets banned a second time.
If anyone has seen it, let's hear your views...

Hi, I saw clips of it (on "The Little Picture Show" on UK Channel 4). It seems to be predominantly studio footage of them recording audio broadcasts (ie they're sitting by big studio mics reading scripts) but there's some larking around for the benefit of the cameras in between the audio recording takes. From the commentary/interview it seems the content of the video is pretty much the same as the third record they released. Verdict: if you like Peter and Dud, you'll like the video; if you don't, you probably won't! Personally, I prefer their earlier (eg 60s) stuff. Scott | |||||
