| They finished up a few scenes at our local elementary school last week.
The school, Kilgor Elementary, was changed to "Owen Meany Jr. High" for
a few months.
The movie is based upon the John Irving book "A Prayer for Owen Meany".
It should be exciting to see my neighborhood and little town square
used as the background for a movie...

'The Cider House Rules'? This book is my favourite of John Ir-
ving (having read ALL of them), I would LOVE to see it as a mo-

Not a movie. But Channel 4 (I think) made a series of the book. Very good
I believe. This was fairly recently so I doubt that it would be
available on video yet.

| Having read "A Prayer For Owen Meany" I do not believe that the
movie "Milk Money" is any way shape or form connected to the
John Irving novel. The plots are completely different.
