Lawrence Kasdan, the director of THE BIG CHILL, didn't like having to
cut Kevin's role for TBC, so he promised him a "good" role in another

one of his best roles.

In THE BIG CHILL, Kevin Kline and Glenn Close were the hosts for the

| I've been trying to remember the title of an old Abbott & Costello movie and
decided to finally turn to this file for help. I remember very little about
the actual plot, other than Abbott & Costello and their female costar were
ghosts from the Revolutionary War, and I think they lived (were trapped?) in
a wishing well. I remember that it was a very charming film where in the end
they were somehow set free.
Thanks in advance for any help!

It's a late 1950's or early 60's film...with George C. Scott as an
expert 'wheelman/driver' for the Italian syndicate. He comes out of
retirement to help someone 'escape'...it gets complicated with a pretty
young lady etc. He (scott) has a very interesting relationship with his
car....a vintage BMW...it's a cult type film.
