| About the only thing of significance since then is Crispin's cameo as
Andy Warhol in The Doors.

I didn't know that was Crispin playing Andy in the movie.
That scene in the Doors with Andy is great. Andy and
Jim Morrison meet at a party...Andy hands Jim a phone
painted gold and says (paraphrased) "It's a direct line to god"
Jim goes "WOW" Jim was in a drug induced state at the time
...but when wasn't he...

| He also plays a very trange and frenetic speed freak in "River's Edge"
which is a fairly depressing film in which Keanu Reeves and other
teenagers come to terms with one of their friend's killing of another
friend.
Crispin Glover is even more menacing and spacey than Dennis Hopper who
is also in the movie.

| Crispin Glover has a cameo in David Lynch's "Wild at Heart" as some
freakish relative whose underwear is infested with cockroaches.
A career high-point.

He was also in some kind of a "dysfunctional family" movie with
Suzy Amis and a bunch of others, but I can't remember any of
the others.
Came out 2-3 years ago.

277.6 | Where is Michelle Johnson?? | 6181::SALZMANN | Eschew Obfuscation | Mon Aug 09 1993 13:52 | 26 |
| OK...how 'bout those wonderful actors from the bell-bottomed '70's...
1) Mason Reese- Remember the 'Underwood Deviled Ham' commericals?
2) Rodney Allen Rippy- 'Harlem Globetrotters Show' (?)
3) George Segal- the quintessential 70's master. I can see those
stupid big collars and the bell-bottoms right now...
4) Jill Clayburgh- the quintessential 70's women. Remember the flick
called 'Luna' where she makes the sign of the
one-handed Oedipus with her son??
5) Michelle Johnson- I know she's done a lot since 'Blame it on Rio',
(i.e., falling out of a towel on 'Dallas' and
HBO's 'Tales from the Crypt' but where has this
person, called 'The next Brooke Sheilds' gone
to?? 'Far and Away' doesn't count- she didn't
drop any towels and get that evil twinkle in
her eyes)
Any thoughts??
