I caught this movie last night on TV. I thought it was a wonderful
film. Very warm, very real, and very well acted.
I rate it as a 9/10. 2nd best film I've seen so far this year.
If you haven't seen it, rent it.

Since you said "this year" I will assume you ment the moive with
Al Pachino (sp) and Michele Phiffer (sp). But there is another
movie titled Frankie & Johnny. It stars Elvis and Ellie May from
The Beverly Hillbillies (whats her name?). Even if your not an
Elvis fan, this is a very good movie based on the song titled
Frankie & Johnny .. sorry, I can't remember who wrote and orignally
sung the song. But Elvis took the song and turned it into a good
family and enjoyable movie..

RE: the song It may be copyrighted by someone, but I'm pretty sure it's actually a folk song of unknown origin. I liked the movie. Bob | |||||
