My prediction is that this will be one of the biggest flops of
the season.

| I second Shawn's prediction. I amuse myself during previews by trying
to guess, via previews, what movie will hit and what won't. I'm
sometimes wrong, but not do terribly often.

When a movies opening week grosses are below, Last Action Heros' in its
plunge to the HeavensGate/Hudson Hawke hall of fame, this isn't a real

RE: Barry
To tell you the truth, I didn't know how the movie had done
before I made the prediction. Hadn't even seen/heard any-
thing except for seeing the preview on TV a couple times.

test and I think it is OK and entertaining.

was hilarious.

A good example for everyone.

| I saw Coneheads last night on TV and it was really fun. Not a great movie by
any means, but well worth the time. This is a good movie for spotting comic
stars, sort of a Robert Altmen film for comedy.
The principle characters are the Coneheads from the old Saturday Night live
cast (I'm not sure of the spelling but you'll know who I mean) Dan Ackroid,
Jane Certain, and Lorain Newman. Along with them are a lot of members of the
3rd Saturday Night cast including Jan Hooks, Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, Kevin
Neland and others.
Also there are appearances by Kramer and George Kastanza (I forget their real
names) from Seinfield.
The story moves along and actually does a good job with the theme of 2nd
generation aliens and how they are really more comfortable in their new society
than the old one.
If you haven't seen it on TV, rent the tape. I don't know If I'd be crazy
about paying 8 bucks to see it on the big screen but it worked really well on
TV.

Larraine Newman was not a principal character - she had a kind of cameo
appearance as one of the audience during the big "battle" scene in the arena on
Remulak. The daughter (Connie) was played by someone else (whose name escapes
me). Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtain did indeed reprise their Conehead roles.
A fairly cute movie - good cable fare (which is where I caught it). :-)

Michelle Burke, who you probably don't remember from either Dazed and Confused
