Dont bother....its rubbish.
Its a nothing movie, just an excuse for Madonna to get her kit off, and
I like her.

| Ditto on .2
Madonna was playing Madonna but in a bad hair cut/style......
There are some interesting plot twists but other than that, well lets
just say I am real glad I didn't waste anevening at the movies and pay
theater prices for this one. Oh but the sceen in the parking garage
was my favorite !

Ditto on previous replies,
I'm a big fan of the old Madonna. Not anything like I expected.
Didn't Madonna direct this movie? If so, she should stay out of
directing and stick with her acting and video bits!
The movie could have used a few of her more recent songs to living it
up also. I can think of one from the Dick Tracy soundtrack, which I
won't mention here...

| I liked the courtroom drama near the end. See if you can figure out
the Big Surprise before it's revealed.
Not worth going out of your way for, but if the alternative is watching
reruns of "Gilligan's Island" and the price is < $2, it's worth it.

| Goodness. I shudder to imagine what those of us who are *not* Madonna
fans would think of this movie! :-)

| I'm not a Madonna fan, but I do like both Willem DaFoe and Joe
Montegna, and neither one of them could save this movie.

I'd rather watch Gilligan's Island.
<minor spoiler>
Apon seeing this movie, my first thought was,
They should of shot Madonna<sp> at the the begining of the project,
before they started filming.

| I thought the scripting was poor - I was just amazed at some of the
goofy lines that Dafoe had. And, that he agreed to be in the movie at
all.
Perhaps if they'd cast someone other than Madonna, the plot might have
had a chance. It seemed to lots of angle shots of her.

265.10 | waste of time | 5793::STARR | Who needs love? | Mon Aug 02 1993 14:59 | 16 |
| This movie was just awful - after about a half-hour of it I ended up
fast-forwarding through the rest of it to catch the major plot revelations,
and to see what all the stink was about (not much, since the sex scenes turned
out to be hardly erotic to me, and I ended up FF'ing over those also).
I couldn't believe how bad Madonna was in this movie, just beyond
comprehension! She seemed to just talk her way through her lines, not even
*trying* to act..... ugh! (I could probably do a better job acting! And I'll
bet most everyone else here could also!)
William Defoe and Joe Montegna are two good actors, but both aren't given
anything to work with here. What a waste of talent...
