If Night of the Lepus fails as a "Big Thing Threat" movie, I'd like
to nominate "Village of the Giants" as it's contemporary.
This is a movie where every species of harmless animal gets big, even
the "loose teenagers with good haircuts and large breasts, who go-go
dance to garage rock, and who are most definitely doped up".
I can't decide whether the highlight of the film is the twenty-foot tall
rocking breast replica, the belly-dancing Toni Basil, or 10-year-old Ron
Howard as the boy genius.
