If you liked the stupid-joke kind of humor of Hot Shots, you'll love
this movie. Loaded Weapon wasn't as humorous as Hot Shots, but one
thing makes it more fun to watch; The Cameos. It's unbelievable who is
in this movie. It was great because every new scene they had somebody
just pop in for a second or two. After the form feed is a list, which
will be by no means complete, of all the people who are in this movie.

    [Main Stars]
    Emilo Esteves
    (His partner. Name eludes me)
    John Lovitz
    William Shatner
    Kathy Ireland
    Tim Curry

    [Cameos or short appearances]
    Whoopie Goldberg
    Dennis Leary
    Procter from the police academies.
    Bruce Willis
FBI agent from Die Hard I
    Popeye
    Ponch and John from CHiPs
    Charlie Sheen
    Corey Feldman
    Phil Hartman
    and countless others.

The one thing this movie does best is poke fun at EVERY action movie
cliche; the endless clip of bullets, the kicked through windows
    scenario, blowing up cars, ect...

Also, this movie pokes BIG time fun at the Leathal Weapon series.

I'll probably see it again, I think it's worth the money, probably
because I like this type of comedy so much. Makes me even more anxious
    for HOT SHOTS: Part Deux.

By the end of the opening scene I thought, "My God I just wasted two
quid!" but soon after I definitely felt myself warming to some of the
content. This contains some real gems, but I was a tad disappointed at
Bill Shatners performance. I was expecting great things after
'Airplane II'. He sort of came across like a Groucho Marx wannabe,
crossed with a constipated Pablo Escobar.

It was great seeing John and Ponch again, tho.

BTW, the guy in the straightjacket was Ken Ober, from MTV's
    	"Remote Control".

Robert Davi was the FBI agent in "Die Hard".

Also in this was Alyce Beaslee from "Moonlighting", and F. Murray
Abraham played the "hannibal" character, and Rick Ducommon [who
was also in "Die Hard" as the electrical worker.

And probably more that I'm forgetting.
