I tried to install netman31 on a Windows95 PC, and when I change the
default location it wants to use from
c:\orawin to c:\orawin95
because that's where I have all the Oracle stuff, I get the message:
The location specified 'C:\ORAWIN95' is already used as an Oracle
home for WIN95. It cannot be used as an Oracle home for 'Windows'.
I don't want 2 Oracle directories, I want to keep the ORAWIN95. Is
there a way around this?
Do I need the NETMAN31 at all, or can I fiddle my *.ora files
myself?
Thanks,
Regina

netman31 is a 16 bit app, so wants to go to the 16bit folder. > I don't want 2 Oracle directories, I want to keep the ORAWIN95.
