    I must be doing something blantantly stupid or I should stop for today.
    
    I can't get the RMU stuff from the DBApack to run on my win95 PC. 
    I just reinstalled the DBApack in all its glory and it didn't change 
    anything. When trying to attach with one of the RMU utilities I 
    always get 
    
    	Network job has completed 
    	The requested service is not running <0x0>.
    
    Which service? RMU_SERVICE? Is happy and up and running
    		   My database? Is happy and up and running (V7)
    		   RMU_DISP is you guess it up and listening to 1571
    
    The logfiles on the server leave me clueless. All the errors in there
    seem to be 'normal' according to the message files.

    I try to access my database in my account and I have full privs onthat
    database. Accesses with D2000 pose no problem. 
    
    I am grateful for every idea.

Real 7.0 or some pre-7.0 version. Recently I had upgraded Rdb but not SQL/Services and got the same error from RUMWIN and RMUSTAT (only) until I upgraded SQL/Services...
