Hi! Today I upgraded our forgotten customer from rdb 3.1 (yes I know...) to rdb 7.0. CDD was upgradet too from 4.1 (or something like this) to 7.0. Some of their applications are written in C with TDMS (ver from year 1990). The question is : Should this apps work with CDD 7.0 or should I make some workaround. Regards, Jarek

TDMS definitions are in the DMU dictionary, which hasn't changed since forever. As long as nobody deleted or otherwise mangled cdd.dic and any of its subdictionaries they're probably OK. Unless CDD v7 dropped DMU support, in which case they would be out of luck. Brenda |
