    	Can't we simply pull the SQL from V$SQLAREA or someplace else
    	into Expert without using Trace (which of course assumes that
    	that table holds the data we're interested in, which if you're
    	trying to pull representative sames of various work may not be
    	the case) ?

	Yes, we actually vary the queries for performance reasons depending on the server version. Later releases of Oracle have a SQL_TEXT table which performs better.
