    Hi,
    
        Sorry to ask about futures but is there any intention for ODBC
        to utilize microsoft's transaction server (aka Viper) on windows/nt?
        Which I know didley-squat about anyhow.
    
        If not then the customer may well end up switching to sql server.

    Hi Steve,
    
    You can use them together at the moment..We have built a system here which
    used VB and SQLServer and compiled using MTS.  Access to Database is
    via ODBC 
    
    Drop me a note if you want further details.

    Thanks, but are you trying ODBC to rdb? I know it's not a problem
    for SQLserver.

    Sorry my mistake...MTS is only for SQLserver at the moment. It will
    change in the future but have no dates.
