467.0. "format/merge %EPC-W-FMT_DCF_MERGED" by 12293::ALLEMEERSCH (In Flanders fields ...) Fri May 30 1997 07:22
Hello,
Trace v2.2
Rdb v6.1-1
alpha
format/merge 2 data files
My customer reports the following errors on format/merge for
a specific second data file, from exactly the same collection.
There is no overlap in time for the 2 data files.
%EPC-W-FMT_DCF_begin
%EPC-E-FMT_DCF_failure failed formatting at block 28 of file
%EPC-W-FMT_DCF_MERGED DATA FILE HAS ALREADY BEEN MERGED
The strange point is that, if the data file is formated as first file,
then there is no problem at all.
Any ideas on the analysis approach.
Would a dump of block 28 help ?
Thanks a lot.

467.1 | Trace was right ! | 12293::ALLEMEERSCH | In Flanders fields ... | Fri May 30 1997 10:00 | 4 |
| This issue is solved. The customer messed up the file names on
copy / rename of the data files from one system to another.
