Hello,
I've have some users having problems establishing "LAT X" sessions
from their VXT2000s to a VAX. Their VXTs are running v1.2.
When they start the session, they get prompted for a username/password
from the VAX, but they go no further. The just see the clock on their
screen. And their Sys$login:Decw$sm.log file is empty.
Any ideas on what I can look at on the VAX to trouble shoot this?
Chris

- open security (***) at VXTs Terminal Manager (options security) - try with different accounts. - put an $EXIT at the top of the users LOGIN.COM and SYLOGIN.COM - rename VUE$PROFILE.VUE$DAT in users directory. - does Xsession work to other Hosts? - be shure to not have a (bad) DECW$LOGIN.COM in users account. Does the following work: - open security (***) at VXTs Terminal Manager - $SET DISPLAY/CREAT/NODE=LAT_08xxxxxx/TRANS=LAT (at the host) - $MC DECW$SESSION andre | |||||

Andre,
Yes, LATX does work to other hosts. I'll try your suggestions.
Thanks!
