A customer of mines has just reported the problem mentioned in note 1656. The solution there is to replace SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]DECW$DWT_FONT_DAEMON.EXE with the one provided at HANNAH::DWT$2:[VXT.PUBLIC.LATFD] but I can't acces it $ dir humane::DWT$2:[VXT.PUBLIC.LATFD] %DIRECT-E-OPENIN, error opening HUMANE::DWT$2:[VXT.PUBLIC.LATFD]*.*;* as input -RMS-F-DEV, error in device name or inappropriate device type for operation $ Within the TIMA Stars base there is another solution \ Directory DOCROOT:[COMMON.DECWIN.ENG_IMAGES.HPXQ81DD6] \ \ LATFD.TXT;1 7 11-MAY-1995 18:04:11.00 \ LATFDAXP.EXE;1 133 11-MAY-1995 04:13:38.00 \ LATFDAXP.OBJ;1 337 11-MAY-1995 04:13:16.00 \ LATFDVAX.EXE;1 57 11-MAY-1995 04:20:46.00 \ LATFDVAX.OBJ;1 78 11-MAY-1995 04:20:39.00 but the node location is not mentioned... What is the solution for this problem today ? Where is the patch located ? Is the patch included (or the problem fixed) in a new version of something ? Thank you for any information. Pierre.

Pierre I don't know if there's an other fix included somewhere. Since it is the DECW$ Font Daemon image I would guess it to come with VMS (DECwindows part). Pointer to my Public Directory where you can find it sent by mail. hope this helps andre | |||||
