    The NATIONAL CAGE BIRD SHOW is being held at the Center of New
    Hampshire Expo Center on November 18th and 19th. This is one of the 
    two biggest bird shows in the Country. It is the equivalent of the
    Westminster Dog show.
    
     The show is open to the public and admission is $5 for adults seniors
    $3 and children under 12 free.
    
     Judging starts at 8:00 AM on the 18th there will be 3000-5000 birds
     at the show with 14 divisions of birds being judged.
    
     There is also going to be a bird sale room, raffle tables and over 
    40 vendors from across the country displaying their bird related items.
    
     The show raffle birds this year are an African Grey, and a Blue Front 
    Amazon. Tickets are $1 a piece or 10 for $5 I do have tickets available 
    if anyone wishes to purchase some.

    I'm not sure of directions, but I'm planning on going North on 3 --
    I imagine the place is right on route 3 since its someone in the
    middle of nowhere in NH, and everything in the middle of nowhere in
    NH is attached to 3.

    Manchester NH  
    603-625-1000
    
    Route 93 N to 293N
    Take exit 5 (Granite St.)
    go right off ramp
    at 3rd set of lights it will be on your left (Holiday Inn)

    The show is slated to be in Chicago for 1998 to celebrate their 50th
    anniversary. They need to have a local club host the show. The first
    show and the inception of it started in Chicago. If a local club does
    not volunteer to host it they will continue with their standard format
    and select a club at the annual show. They select a site 2 years in
    advance. Next years show is in New Orleans, 96 is Detroit and 97 is
    in Colarado.
