| Have you contacted your local avian vet? I have a pair of tiels who
also had many matings and alot of egg production. I finally took
the female to my vet and had a hormone shot given to her. She did
not produce eggs for two years. I dont' know if this is an option
for lovebirds, but worth pursuing with your vet.

| I'm located in Tampa, Fl., therefore, my vet could not be of assistance
to you. I'm sure that if you have a local "Avian" DVM, he will be able
to guide/assist you in determining the best approach to your problem.
My vet has been extremely helpful with over-the-phone suggestions to
everyday problems with my beloved tiels. Of course, I've also spent
a good deal of money with him for other ailments they have had which
need medical intervention.
Good luck!

| re: location
My mother-in-law lives in northeast conneticutt and we live just
outside of Boston. She's in the remnants of an old mill town, so
I'd be surprised if there was an avian vet about. However, she
only lives 1.25 hrs away and has even been know to deliver birds to
North Carolina (her daughter lives there...). So if there was
someone up here that you would recommend, it wouldn't be a problem.
