Just a lttle tip for those who are breeding. I had a pair that had successfully mated three times, then they had two clutches that were not fertile. I went to a bird show and started asking around to see if anyone else had the problem. Finally ran into a person that said - his feathers around the vent may be too thick. Well -- we went home a did a trimming job and now we have fertile eggs (due to hatch in 7 days). I would have never thought of that one!! Hope this helps someone else... Dora
