I just checked out a excellend Bird Care video from my local bird club.
It is titled "The Bird Care" video and is by Lee Matthew and Robert
Shelley D.V.M. it is available from LAM productions 15031-B Military
Road South #132, Seattle, WA 98188. The price on it is $39.95.
Contents:
Restraint techniques, the home physical exam, oral medication,
intramuscular injections, daily maintenance, nutrition, gavage tube
feeding, houshold dangers (including homemade hospital cages),
injuries, bleeding, extracting blood feathers, nail trimming, wing
clipping. It also has a little section on emergency handling and
feeding of oil spill-tramatized waterfowl.
Every proceedure is demonstrated on Pet Birds.
It is not a bad video for bird clubs to have for check out. Paul Lewis
of Birdtalk Magazine gave it a good review.
