706.0. "Teaching Birds To Talk" by ALAMOS::ADAMS (Gone fission.) Tue Jul 14 1992 13:04
Hi,
I'd like to get some advice/opinions on teaching mimicing birds to
talk. A long time ago here was an 8-track tape that had a bunch of
phrases on it. They would repeat over and over, alternating between
the left and right speaker or going through both.
Does this really work? If so, is it better to present one phrase at a
time or many?
I'm asking these questions because I'm currently writing a multimedia
program for the PC that would play sounds through a stereo to
mimic'ers. Any info would be appreciated, or pointers to reference
material.
