In a few months time my book about breeding parrots and handraising
chicks will be published. My publisher already has announced it for
September and is taking in orders from the large Clubs.
It contains data of the leading Dutch parrot breeders and covers all
varieties from large parrakeets to macaws.
As you may well know Holland is the parrot/parrakleet capital of the
world so very detailed info will become available.
Some breeders have succesfully bred large parrots for over two
decades!
It is NOT about parrot breeds so no descriptions or so are included, it
deals solely with breeding facilities and stimuli and all aspects of
handrearing. All from a practical, average enthusiasts point of view.
The environmental, ecologic, aspect is not forgotten but forms the
backbone of the info.
Yes, it will be in Dutch but the info is presented so transparent and
uses pictures, tables and graphs so that almost anyone make use of it.
