| This could be real long - or be multiples - lset us start with one
bird: Winston, 13 month African Grey.
He Loves: Popcorn, Idaho Skins, Bread (almost any kind!), Club Soda,
Pepsi, Peanuts, Green Beans, Tops of Broccoli, carrots,
Potato Chips, sunflower seeds, All of his playtoys and his
cage and play pen (on top of cage) and of course ME!
He Hates: Yep - things with sauce on them - even maccaroni and cheese.
He is like a little kid - actually makes a face and gagging
noises - then throws it as far as he can! Hates his
underside and tail being touched or being turned upside down.
Hates Cats (I have 4)! Hates most fresh fruits - likes some
dried. Hates Rice.
He is starting to talk now (karen don't worry - even at a year greys
are considered very young). He says Hello and mumbles several other
things. Mostly he likes to emulate sounds - like the microwave, and
the timer going off, and meows like the cat. He keeps me in stitches!
He laughs like my husband and myself and is starting to make sounds
like the phone ringing.

Well my two boys Buddie (Nanday) & Oliver AKA: Oli (Parakeet).
Buddie loves everything.... If I am eating or drinking it he wants it....
And has yet to refuse anything I have offered him..... And of course
if Buddie has it Oli wants it too..... geeze these two.. will drive me
to drink soon... I have had them both over 8 years now..... And they
are the best of friends... Oli does a Buddie impression that is
hysterical.....
Buddie likes to bathe in the blender of all places (no not with it on),
or anywhere (like my glass of whatever I am drinking) when ever it
suits him. Oli's favourite game is to dive bomb people, when they
come over for the first time. Last week I was having new screens
installed in the bathroom. And the guy that came to install them asked
"Are your birds home ??" I looked at him sort of funny.... I was out
at work when he came to measure and the landlord let him in. I told
him "No, they are at the brid sitters" I had been out of town !!! "Oh
good, that one is attack trained" I just laughed thinking he meant
Buddie.... He said "That little guy is fast..... Buzzed me 3 times...
He must have been to watchbird school".....
My vet told me he had never seen a bird that had bonded so well to its
owner as my Nanday.... I saved his life as an infant. That bird
well literally let me do *anything* to him.. the vet gets a kick out of
it.... he says that "He truly believes that you are his mate...."
