Well I brought Mic to the vet and he has 'fatty tumors'. She
put him on a millet diet with vitamins. He also had a cold, so
he is on meds for that also. In just 3 days he is doing much better,
but doesn't like the vitamins very well. She gave me samples of
Super Preen and Budgie Mix. What do you folks use?

| Hi Melanie,
Glad Mic is doing better. I use Topper Seeds, they have the Vitamins
impregnated in them rather that just on the outside like most other
fortified seeds. They are more expensive than most seeds. I buy them
from an Flitesong Enterprises in Merrimack New Hampshire for about
$9 for 5 lbs. or $4 for 2 lbs(shipping included). If you want to order
from them leave a message on the machine at 603-595-9429.
I also put Prime vitamins in the water 3-4 times a week. I use these as
they have something extra, but I forget if it is Amino Acids or
electrolytes.

He is still on millet and will have to remain on millet the rest
of his birdie life [a long one I hope!]. Mic lost 6 grams in 30 days
on his 'silm fast' diet. And his fatty tumors have shrunk. He is very
much himself these days. He is also eating hard boiled eggs and rice
along with the super preen - powder. He hates vegatables.
