To All, I haven't seen any references to the Exotic Cage Bird Society bird club in this conference and I thought that I would let you all that they exist. I say this because I had one heck of a time finding them myself. For a long period of time I had heard about this club that was located somewhere in Massachusetts. I was unable to find it. I finally got the name and location from my vet. I would like to just offer some backgroud about the club. It is a club made up of mostly novice and intermediate level bird owners (this is my impression) and they were very friendly and open. They meet in Oxford (located close to Worcester and Auburn) and their membership is somewhere in the 170 to 180 range. There isn't much interest in showing birds ...... they are more into breeding and keeping birds. If anyone wants additional information about this club, please contact me at DTN 223-5089 or VAXMAIL at ONESVC::BUCCIERI. Take care all, Jim Buccieri

I went to a meeting of this club on 4/21 and found it very informative fun and friendly. If you are in the Worcester/Oxford area I suggest you visit and Join. It is the same distance for me as going to the NHAS, so for now I will be going to the NHAS meeting/events. Next fall I may join this club. It was nice to meet Jim there face to face. Doug |
