454.0. "Looking for feed dishes" by CSSE32::SMITH (Reality, just a visible imagination?) Tue Nov 20 1990 11:38

Hi,

I purchased a used cage ("called The Jock") and it needs new feed dishes. I
tried to locate some at all the local NH pet stores I know of without much luck.

I looking for suggestions on where to look next. Are there any LARGE pet supply
store that carry lots of bird cages and accessories?

The dishes are half circle shaped with flat back eg: (approx...)

    Hi,

You might want to try Dodge Grain on Rt.28 in Salem N.H., as they
carry all kinds of bird supplies. I bought feed dishes there before.
They are located right in front of Grossmans near Rt.97.

454.2Four Free...but consider stainless steel instead!CLOSET::COMPTONLinda DTN381-0687 ZKO1-2/C21Tue Nov 20 1990 13:3114
    Hi,

We have a jock cage and have never used the dishes. You can have them
for free if you want them. There are four white ones. We use the
stainless steel dishes with the wire hangers and find them far superior
for big birds than the other dishes. Depends on what you want/need
and how much your bird eats. The Jock dishes are tiny, especially
considering that the cage is supposed to be for big birds. Anyway,
you are welcome to the four we have if you want them. Call
603-595-9429 and let me know where to send them or if you want to
pick them up. We are in the southwest corner of Merrimack, NH, right
    off Amherst Street (101A).
