There is a New England Finch Fancier's (NEFF) show in Hartford,
Connecticutt on the 24th of November (the Saturday after Thanksgiving).
Is anyone from this area (GMA) planning to go to that show? Or know
anyone who is?
I have a pair of owl finches I bought from a breeder in Maryland, who I
met up with this fall at a show in Framingham, Mass. Both birds turned
out to be hens, and I need to make a swap with the breeder to get a
true pair. She will be coming to the NEFF show. Unfortunately, I am
obliged to be in New Jersey with my in-laws that weekend. (Don't get
me wrong, I like my in-laws, I just like bird shows better :-)
Consequently, I'm looking for someone who is willing to take one of my
birds down, swap with this woman, and bring back the new cock bird,
which I would arrange to pick up. I'm willing to provide gas $$ and
admission to the show, or something similar, by way of compensation.
Please let me know ASAP if you're willing to help out so that
arrangements can be made.
