425.0. "BOAF AUCTION" by ABACUS::BOURGAULT () Mon Oct 01 1990 15:44
BOAF AUCTION: The Birds Of A Feather Avicultural Society is holding
its semi-annual auction on Monday, October 8th.
If you have never been to a bird auction it is a
great experience. You can get great deals on birds
and supplies (vitamins, cages, etc.) as well as
non-related bird items. Our last auction held last
May had over 300 birds, from finches, and cockatiels
to sun conures and cockatoos. It's a good place to
meet breeders, hobbyists and other bird fanciers.
You are also invited to sell your birds or anything else you may want
to get rid of. Non-members are welcome to participate (buyer or
seller).
DATE: Monday, October 8th
TIME: 7:30 (Social hour from 6:30 - 7:30. If you are selling
something, it is best to get there about 1/2 hour early to
log it in.)
LOCATION: United Methodist Church, Hampton, N.H.
Directions: Take 495 North to 95. Take the Kingston/Seabrook exit
(first exit AFTER the Route 285 exit). Bear right off
exit, head for Seabrook. Take a left at first set of
lights at intersection. This puts you on Route 1.
Follow route 1 through Seabrook and into Hampton
Center (around 4-5 miles or so) Go straight through
Hampton center. Just past the Dunkin Donuts Shoppe
you will approach an intersection with a light. Go
straight through the light and the church is a few
hundred feet (or approx. 1/10th of a mile) on your
right (Small white church). Park behind the church
The auction is downstairs in the back portion of the
church.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! Wear your DEC badges and I will look for
you. I will be on the stage in the back
of the room recording the bids.
Regards,
Denise B.
